Ciao io utilizzo questa app con il garmin durante gli allenamenti
alphaHRV is a DataField that performs real time DFA analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) during your activity.
It provides alphal parameter, showing its evolution during the last 2 min of the activity.
In order to use this DataField a heart rate monitor that provides HRV measurements is required. As accuracy in alphal identification depends on quality of the measurements, it is strongly recommended to use Polar H9 or H10 monitors that have been validated by different authors using existing HRV analysis platforms.
alphaHRV connects using BLE or Ant+ to the HR sensor.
Iβm not sure when to measure tbh! This morning I sat up in bed, did the check and got 7.2 (my average is 7.7) then went down stairs, put the kettle on, sat in the chair, took another reading and got 8.8
Thank you, all is good, Iβve done the second reading a number of times when I get down stairs and it always gives me a substantial increase in HRV, RHR and rMSSD, Iβll stick with the reading from just sitting up and getting my feet on the floor, it seems to give a more accurate reading in comparison to when I was using both Whoop and HRV4T (Whoop is gone now)
hi Simon! My guess is that an artifact ended up in the second measurement, as this would often lead to an abnormally high value. Your first routine sounds pretty good, I'd stick with that for simplicity / consistency. Feel free to reach us via email should you have any additional doubts, and we can follow up. Thank you and have a nice weekend!
